Palestine/Israel: One state for all its citizens,
by Ali Abunimah
|
The Electronic Intifada, 16 October 2003
http://electronicintifada.net/v2/article2072.shtml
"Peace in Palestine through territorial partition is a doomed
fantasy and the time has come to discard it. While it may once have
worked on paper, in practice the Israeli state has succeeded, through
the relentless colonization of the Occupied Territories and lately
its grotesque separation barrier, in its long-standing goal of rendering
any workable partition impossible. (...)"

Which kind of binational state?, by Meron Benvenisti
|
Haaretz, 20 November 2003
"In the rush of refreshing statements heard lately, the warnings
have come from the length of the political spectrum - from Ami Ayalon
to Ehud Olmert and the Geneva accord initiators and Jewish intellectuals
in America - Israel faces "a threat that could spell the end
of the Jewish state," meaning the danger of the binational
state. Within a few years, there will be a Palestinian majority
between the Jordan and the Mediterranean and according to Olmert
"more and more Palestinians are no longer interested in a solution
of two states for two peoples." The result is "a disaster
- one state for two people." (...)."

Israël-Palestine : un Etat pour tous by Yéhouda
|
La revue Courant Alternatif, organe de l'Organisation communiste
libertaire (OCL), oclibertaire@hotmail.com a publié, dans

|
Is the "Two State Solution" still a viable
and desirable solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict?
|
Slowly Israelis are moving towards the one-state-solution. We produce
here a text written by Ari Shavit, Haim Hanegbi and Meron Benvenisti,
three prominent Israelis, with the commentary of the Israeli peace
activist Yehudith Harel. These are the most eloquent proof ever
expressed by Israelis that our Association is on the only possible
road for peace in the Middle-East.
This text is available in English and French.
